Archie started karting with his first bambino race on 21st May 2016 at Fulbeck. He was hooked.
Archie has a very natural feel for driving and learns every time he goes out on track.
He's remarkably sensitive to engine and chassis set up and soon comments on how the set up feels. Archie has a strong capacity to push himself and stay focused to get every last bit of performance out of his kart.
Archie dipped into a couple of championship rounds in 2016 and competed in a few stand alone races.
Archie, number 43, drove a Bambino Wright Centaur kart with a 50cc Comer engine, there are strict regulations governing the set up of the kart and all races require the engines to have an engine restrictor fitted. The Le Conte all weather tyre is also the regulation tyre for these races.
We are proud to say he WON the Bambino MSA British Championship 2017, plus numerous clubman rounds along the way.
Archie then raced in the Iame Cadet class, starting with Fusion Motorsport and moving to Strawberry Racing. Archie finished in the Cadet class in 2020 as he has grown so much he was too tall to complete the final year in Cadets. He holds many race wins and placings from his time in Cadets.
Archie now aged 12 has decided to move to the Junior class, although he won't be able to race under MSA rules until 2022, he will be able to compete at IKR races.
Archie has joined Kato Motorsport (KMS) and will be using an Exprit chassis.Having not raced/driven for many months, he started back and really tried hard getting physically fitter and stronger, only to break a rib on a test day at PFI. Unfortunatelly this will put him on the back foot but his detemination will see him give his best despite the late start to the season.
Archie will race in The BKC pooled engine OKJ Championship and he will race in The UKC Championship in Junior X30 during 2021.
Archies little brother, Ben, and his dad, Olly, are also filling up the calendar with motorsport events.
